The main element of the necklace is mother-of-pearl beads, which captivate with their snowy white iridescence. At the center of the jewelry is a trident - the national coat of arms of Ukraine. The oldest known depiction of this symbol dates back to the 10th century. It accompanied warriors into battle, signifying the pursuit of freedom and independence. Therefore, it symbolizes triumph and Ukrainian self-identification. Modern mother-of-pearl is the descendant of mollusks that lived in the Sarmatian Sea, which washed the territory of Ukraine 10 million years ago.
