At the center of the jewelry is a trident - the national coat of arms of Ukraine. The oldest known depiction of this symbol dates back to the 10th century. It accompanied warriors into battle, symbolizing the pursuit of freedom and independence. Therefore, it represents triumph and Ukrainian self-identification.
