Driving away all evil and problems, Bereginya takes care of family comfort, love and prosperity. Our ancestors put her in the house above their heads so that she could see everything.

Why not make a face?
Our ancestors did not make Motanka faces, because they believed that negative energy could enter the doll through the eyes. At the same time, since the motanka is supposed to protect a person and his home, they either did not make their face at all, or they wove a solar cross - a sacred sign of love, prosperity and luck.
