The inspiration for this dress came from a very interesting towel from Poltava region.
The dark blue fabric of the dress is like the sky with stars shining harmoniously. All of this symbolizes the universe around us. This is not just a dress, it is a touch of eternity, beauty, and harmony of the infinite world. The dress is filled with life-giving symbolism. The central element of the dress is an eight-petal flower (star) that reflects the classic symbol of vitality and harmony. The smooth, wavy lines on the hem of the dress and chest symbolize the infinity of being. The ornamentation and embroidery techniques are recreated in the style of Poltava embroidery from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The dress is decorated with tassels at the neckline, belt, and pockets, which are embellished with embroidery.

I received my package today, two days before Christmas, including this shirt, which won't be given as a gift until just after Christmas, so I can't comment specifically on this item. I was very happy that the package made it from Ukraine to Ohio in time for Christmas, and I was very moved by the care and attention that went into the wrapping, with a little surprise tucked into the ribbon on each package. In the midst of the war, that you could give each item such loving care is a small miracle. I am holding you and your countrymen and -women in the Light.
My made in Ukraine Ukrainian flag came hand wrapped with a bow tied around a compostable paper wrapper saying from Ukraine with love. Although I am flying this flag on my home, it arrived ready to give as-is as a gift. My package came with a little organic business card with flower seeds embedded in it. I will only buy flags here from now on. Slava Ukraini!
