Not every shirt has to be white or black. If you’re looking for something a bit different, the Chernihivska embroidered shirt is an interesting option.
Made from natural beige linen and embellished with three-dimensional machine-embroidered satin stitch in a light brown colour. The textured ornamentation recreates a pattern from the Nizhyn district of Chernihiv region, which was created in the first half of the 20th century.
Various techniques were used to create the embroidery, imitating hand-stitching. The motif of the pattern is a broken branch (a traditional Ukrainian wedding tree), combined with geometric elements. A distinctive feature of the embroidery is the use of the ‘nightingale’s eye’ technique, or piercing.
The shirt is loose-fitting, oversized, with a fairly wide silhouette. The classic collar fastens with a wooden button, and the cuffs with two concealed buttons. An unusual and stylish option for the

I received my package today, two days before Christmas, including this shirt, which won't be given as a gift until just after Christmas, so I can't comment specifically on this item. I was very happy that the package made it from Ukraine to Ohio in time for Christmas, and I was very moved by the care and attention that went into the wrapping, with a little surprise tucked into the ribbon on each package. In the midst of the war, that you could give each item such loving care is a small miracle. I am holding you and your countrymen and -women in the Light.
My made in Ukraine Ukrainian flag came hand wrapped with a bow tied around a compostable paper wrapper saying from Ukraine with love. Although I am flying this flag on my home, it arrived ready to give as-is as a gift. My package came with a little organic business card with flower seeds embedded in it.
